I’m sure it’s been said, read, tweeted 2734 times, but I really cannot believe how fast my first Healthy Living Summit weekend went! I feel like it was yesterday I was de-boarding in Boston. To give you my full recap, there will be a few posts because I have so much to share! But first let’s take a moment to rewind….

Friday

With ants in my pants, I finally ran off the airplane at 8:15 PM in Boston and ready to meet my wonderful roommates for the weekend Ashley, Melissa and Jamie (and not pictured 5th roomie Kristin).
I have to say that I felt like one lucky lady! I met all 3 girls on Facebook and was a little nervous to meet them. After about 3 minutes of conversation, we were fast friends. They welcomed me with one hour left into the cocktail party hosted by Reebotizer (more to come on this awesome product) one of the Summit’s very generous sponsors. This cocktail hour was no ordinary happy hour, there was bumpin’ tunes, great food and drinks and a wicked fun photo booth.
Didn’t I tell you my roommates were great?!

At the stroke of 10 pm, our social hour ended and so the ladies and I headed back to our room to hang out and continue our long anticipated get-to-know-you session. Many giggles and stories shared later, we called it a night and decided to cancel our morning run. We were all tired from travel and were anticipating our  WOD with Reebok the next morning after all!

Saturday

My Saturday started bright and early at 7 am with Ashley chatting away in our room. I have to tell you that this girl is hilarious. I dare you to find someone funnier than her.....it's close to impossible.

We were ready to roll  by 8 am where vendors, swag bags and breakfast awaited us. Reebok was a very generous sponsor and supplied each of us with a free pair of sneakers! I can't wait to try them during my WODs!
Ashley clearly could be the Vanna White of shoe showcases!
Thanks to the many generous brands that sponsored our weekend! Not only were our swag bags brag worthy, but the food and drinks supplied were delicious and healthy.

I must admit that I was a little nervous about traveling and maintaining my Paleo lifestyle. Thanks to HLS dream team of planners, I had nothing to fret. I did not have to stray from  Paleo when choosing food options provided to us through all of the summit meals. Just check out my day one breakfast of Greek-style eggs and turkey sausage patties and strawberries! Delish!
After breakfast we participated in group breakout sessions (read: ice breakers). The ice breakers helped us meet new people and all of the ladies were such a delight to talk to. No answer went unmet with a smile, nod or laugh. After that session I was thrilled that I no longer felt alone in my healthy living blog world!

Annnnnnd I’m going to dangle and will leave you all there. There are so many things to say about each session, that I want to be sure to give you the full scoop.

More to come!
