This weekend was such a whirlwind of fall fun I don’t even know where to begin. Saturday’s now= training days for me since the marathon is (gulp) less than a month away! I have been so blessed that former co-worker turned running buddy and friend Vira has joined me for almost ALL of my long runs! Having someone to train with alleviates the anxiety tied to logging miles alone and helps the time pass quickly. It also helps to have someone as your cheerleader to keep pushing you further and faster!
Sunday was topped off with a Favorite Things Party hosted by my coworker and friend Tara. The idea is that you bring 6 of your favorite things to share with others. When your name is drawn from a hat, you will receive other guests favorite things! The food and drinks were amazing and the gifts were adorable! I’ll be sure to host my own favorite things party and share with you all!
* All proceeds will go the Penn State's Dance MaraTHON and will help me gain a spot on the Extreme Team to run 140 miles in 24 hours.
